An Institutional Closure Contingency Plan is designed to ensure that Amerion College can manage a closure in a manner that prioritizes student rights, maintains compliance with legal and accrediting requirements, and ensures orderly management of student records, teach-out arrangements, and communications.

The purpose of this policy is to establish a formal, institution-wide framework for managing an orderly, ethical, and compliant closure of the institution, should such action become necessary. This policy serves to protect the academic interests of students, meet obligations to employees and creditors, ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and accrediting standards, and provide for the secure retention of institutional records. The policy outlines the required procedures and responsibilities to minimize disruption and risk to all stakeholders.
